What is the history of our Faith, how did it develop and why? Who were some of the spiritual and intellectual giants that fought and sometimes died for it? Of what importance is all of this in our everyday life? We will be using the book Light from the Christian East. Sign up in the library so we know how many books to order.

We will be going through Introducing The Orthodox Church by Anthony M. Coniaris.

This book is a genuinely different and practical book for the inquirer of Orthodox Christianity. Fr. Coniaris approaches each subject in a lively and interesting way. He covers, in depth, the ancient truths of scripture in a modern voice. The book is written so that it appeals to the whole person and is a practical guide for learning to share practically in the life of the Orthodox Church.
