St. Luke’s Women: Serving God and Community
The Women’s Group provides a positive outlet for fellowship among the women of Saint Luke, supports the ministry needs of the church, and fosters our spiritual relationships in Christ.
We will be meeting every third Saturday of the month throughout 2013 and all women are welcome to attend. Each month provides an opportunity for a volunteer to host a get-together in her home. Every get-together starts and ends with prayer, with time allotted for fellowship, spiritual growth and ways to provide service and support for other church ministries and the needs of our community. A primary focus in building our relationships in Christ will be to learn more about different aspects of the liturgical cycles of the Church, and how to practically apply them in our busy daily lives with work, family, and as individuals.
Please contact Jeanne if you would like to host and help set the program for one of the monthly luncheons. Here's a sample of some of the previous discussions and acitivites:
- July -- Annual Women's Brunch at the Runway Grill
- Draw for Secret Prayer Pals
- August 2012 -- "Memory Eternal"
- May 2011 -- "Myrrhbearers in May"
- Sept 2011 -- "Come Sail Away..." (family barbeque and sailing outing)
