About Teen SOYO
At St. Luke Orthodox Church, our mission is to enrich the spiritual journey of our children and teens by deepening their connection to the Orthodox Faith. We aim to strengthen their relationships with the church community—past, present, and future—and with the Triune God. Through our Sunday School classes, which range from preschool to 12th grade, we provide opportunities for our young people to reflect God’s glory in both word and deed.

THIS YEAR'S THEME
Salvation to the Ends of the Earth
The Gospel of Luke and Acts of the Apostles
The Gospel according to St. Luke is often called one of the loveliest books ever written. It gives us a detailed and clear account of Jesus' life and ministry. The Book of Acts tells us what happened after Jesus' Ascension and how the early Church began and grew.
St. Luke teaches us that Jesus was part of God's plan to save everyone. He came as the Messiah because He loves all people, especially those who might struggle. And the Holy Spirit is always present and powerful, helping to share God's love with everyone.

Train up a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Fr. David's Adult Sunday School
Fr. David teaches Adult Sunday School most Sundays while children and youth go to class. He expands and enriches the content of Salvation to the Ends of the Earth: The Gospel of Luke & The Book of Acts for adult learners. Parents are equipped for family study and discussion. Our entire community can make a special effort to grow closer to our heavenly patron this year.
