Sunday Church School

Raising Tomorrow's Saints

Classes meet from 11:15 a.m. to noon, after our Sunday Divine Liturgy and coffee fellowship, from September through May each year.

The purpose of Sunday Church School is to teach our children how to live their Orthodox faith, by applying the Holy Scriptures and Holy Traditions to life situations today. We seek to assist students in building Christian character in their minds and hearts, so they can share the faith and do good works. We encourage our children not only to learn about our faith in the classroom, but in their homes as well. Another benefit of this ministry is the development of friendship with peers in the church.

The Sunday Church School offers classes from pre-school through high school. We also have an adult class, usually taught by Fr. David.

The Sunday School also does a number of charitable works.

For resources for parents and teachers, see the Archdiocese Christian Education page.
