Children Reading the Holy Bible

St. Luke's Church School

Our goal is to support and nurture the faith of our children, helping them to grow in understanding and to live out the teachings of Christ in their daily lives.

About Our Church School

At St. Luke Orthodox Church, our mission is to enrich the spiritual journey of our children and teens by deepening their connection to the Orthodox Faith. We aim to strengthen their relationships with the church community—past, present, and future—and with the Triune God. Through our Sunday School classes, which range from preschool to 12th grade, we provide opportunities for our young people to reflect God’s glory in both word and deed.

THIS YEAR'S THEME

A People Set Apart

The Book of Exodus

This year’s curriculum, A People Set Apart, invites teachers and students to journey through the Book of Exodus with the guiding theme from Exodus 6:7: “I will take you as My people, and I will be your God.” Just as God delivered Israel from slavery and formed them into His chosen people, the lessons highlight how He continues to deliver, guide, and dwell with His Church today. Students will learn that Exodus is not only a story of God’s rescue but also of identity—being set apart to reflect His holiness and carry His blessings to the world.

Resources:

In this curriculum, students will encounter the God who delivers, guides, and dwells among His people. They will learn how the Exodus story - full of signs, struggles, and divine faithfulness - points forward to Christ, our true Deliverer. Through age-appropriate lessons, hands-on activities, crafts, and prayers, we aim to help children see that God is still at work in their lives today, leading them on their own journey of faith.
